1. What is the minimum amount that I can buy from the store?
Answer: We will try and accommodate all requests. If you would like just a little bit of a product you can order that too. The minimum normally is about 100 grams which is equal to about 3 ounces. 

2. How much will the shipping charges be?
Answer: Shipping charges vary depending on where you live and how heavy your order is.  We charge you exactly what it costs us to ship your order (but bill it to your credit card so that you don't have to worry about COD charges) and confirm the total amount of your order before we send it out.  The following table gives a rough idea of what it costs to send a typical order, but these prices are just a guideline.

3. All your prices are in Canadian dollars. How much is that in American dollars?
Answer: One Canadian dollar is roughly equal to 67-72 cents American, so if it says a product costs $10.00 here then you would pay in American dollars anywhere from $6.70 to $7.20 U.S. depending on what the money was set to that day by the banks.  Just let us know if you would like to know the rate that we will give you for your U.S. dollars.

4. You say you ship by Canada Post. What is that?
Answer: Canada Post is the name of the government Postal Service of Canada.

5. I am nervous about using my credit card on the internet. Should I be?
Answer: YES. This site does not use a secure server system at the moment. The English Sweet shop will call you for your credit number if you leave us a note in the extra text section of the order. Just give us a phone number and area code and a time and we will give you a call to get that information.  We have a secure telephone answering service that you can call to leave your credit card information on.

6. Where is the English Sweet Shop located?
Answer: We are located in downtown Victoria, British Columbia, Canada on Vancouver Island up in the Pacific Northwest. This is about 90 miles north of Seattle, Washington, USA.  If you would like to see where that is in the world please go and see the "Where in The World Are We" page in the About Us Section.

7. Could you please explain the Shopping Cart confirm check box for me?
Answer: Sure! Normally if you select an item it appears in the Shopping Cart with a check mark in the "Confirm" column. If you decide you don't want the item then
the checkbox can be unchecked under the Confirm title and that will remove that item from your shopping cart.

8. How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We ship all orders within one week of receiving them.  Given that it takes a maximum of one week to ship anywhere in Canada or the U.S., you should receive your order within two weeks at the latest.  Just email us if you would like more information.
